PM Electric proudly partnered with Shell to deliver the electrical scope for the Shell EV Program, a forward-looking initiative that introduced electric vehicle charging infrastructure to 18 existing fueling station sites across Alberta and Western Canada. This program marked a key milestone in Shell’s transition toward sustainable energy solutions, and PM Electric was trusted to execute the electrical integration without disrupting ongoing operations at these high-traffic commercial locations.

Each site presented unique challenges—requiring custom load assessments, coordination with local utilities, and the installation of new power distribution equipment to support Level 3 fast chargers. Our team performed underground conduit work, panel upgrades, and transformer coordination, along with precise charger placements to meet both code and user accessibility standards. We also integrated smart metering and monitoring systems to give Shell’s operations team full visibility into energy usage and charger performance.

Safety and scalability were top priorities. PM Electric ensured that all systems were installed to CSA standards and pre-wired for future expansion where possible. Our ability to deliver consistent, high quality installations across multiple active commercial sites highlights our capacity for managing multi location rollouts with efficiency, professionalism, and an eye toward the future of transportation.
