PM Electric completed the electrical scope for the Kearl Lake Fuel and Lube Facility, a purpose-built industrial site supporting the servicing of ultra-class mining equipment in Alberta’s oil sands region. This facility plays a vital role in maintaining productivity by delivering bulk fuel and lubrication to critical assets such as haul trucks, loaders, and excavators operating in demanding, around-the-clock conditions. Our scope involved the full electrical installation of heavy-duty power distribution systems, motor controls, grounding, and automated fueling and lubrication systems. We supplied and installed industrial-grade conduit and cable tray systems, PLC-controlled pump systems, and sensor arrays to support real-time monitoring of flow, temperature, and tank levels. All work was executed with attention to durability, safety, and adherence to both client and provincial industrial codes.
